Exhibition: On the Plein Air Trail with Brenda Behr

All painted en plein air, the exhibition will feature paintings by Brenda Behr of mostly rural scenes of the area in North Carolina known as the Coastal Plain.

Workshop: En Plein Air
Location: Kinston Community Council for the Arts

Pack you easel, we'll hit the streets to explore Kinston, North Carolina en plein air. Emphasis of the workshop will be on capturing light and defining values. Some experience helpful.

Governor Beverly Perdue, Secretary of Cultural Resources Linda Carlisle and the N.C. State Capitol Foundation are hosts at the Masque Ball to benefit the Educational and Restoration programs at the N.C. State Capitol. The event includes a reception, Silent Auction, Dinner and Dancing at the Capitol.
